Read Across America

Let's all celebrate Dr. Seuss Day together on Tuesday, March 2. At school, each child will choose their favorite Dr. Seuss book for us to read together. Read a Dr. Seuss book as your bed time story. Visit this website for a little fun and to celebrate at home on Tuesday.

"Horton Hears a Who" is the winner!

  4. Love Dr. Seuss. I have a book entitled "Dr. Seuss Goes to War" that a former student gave me as a present when I was leaving the school I taught at. I was a her honors history teacher for two years and did a lot with political cartoons. It's one of my most treasured possessions from my teaching career to date.

  5. Green Eggs and Ham is my favorite, too. When the class voted on their favorite book, "The Cat in the Hat" won with three out of seven votes. "Horton Hears a Who" won the school wide vote.

  6. It doesn't look like "Green Eggs and Ham" even placed! I can't believe it. I have to admit though, "Horton Hears a Who" is a pretty good winner!

I do not like it - Boo Hoo Hoo.
I like Green Eggs and Ham the most.
I like it plain or with some toast.
So please vote again, just one more chance.
If Green Eggs and Ham wins, I'll surely dance.

We ate it for dinner with toast, not tofu!
The way we celebrated St. Patrick's Day
Is to eat green food every inch of the way.
Naomi dipped it in french dressing. Yuck!
I hope it will bring her lots of good luck!
